Essex is a county situated in the East of England, the name; Essex originates from the East Saxons. Essex was formerly known as the ancient 'Kingdom of Essex.'

The eastern counties railway opened a lot of doorways for the county of Essex; by the year 1843 the railway had connected the station at Bishops Gate with two of the counties towns, Brentwood & Colchester.

Clacton-On-Sea has been deemed the capital of the 'Essex Sunshine Coast' it is a hugely popular seaside resort with tourists, with gorgeous sandy beaches offering many water-sport attractions.There are beautiful gardens situated along the sea front & a 19th century pier with entertainment & restaurants to suit all interests.
